British Gas, Npower, Scottish Power, EDF Energy, Scottish and Southern Energy, HSBC. Galaxy
Utilities supplies businesses with a professional Utilities Account Management Service. With
dedicated and polite staff, the service is intended to help your business become more cost
effective.

Key skills and experience required

• 1-2 years with in a Business 2 Business sales environment
• Experienced cold caller with strong verbal skills
• Adept at identify, winning and retaining customers
• Strong organisational skills with a good level of computer literacy
• Self motivated, driven and hungry individual

This role requires professionalism and enthusiasm to succeed in a demanding yet rewarding
role. Candidates need to have excellent verbal communication skills, not afraid to pick up the
phone and to be highly numerate and computer literate. The ideal candidate will have two years
experience in a sales role with a proven track record in achieving targets. It requires someone
who is hardworking and self-motivated with the confidence and ambition to deliver success to both


themselves and the group as a whole. You will see Galaxy Utilities as a route to achieving your
goals. We are only interested in goal orientated people.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain and sustain relationships with major businesses while developing new clients through
existing company leads. The role will include identifying sales opportunities, initiating sales
strategies, exploring new enquires, maintaining contacts and ongoing market awareness. It is
important to be able to identify and close deals by understanding business objectives and the
decision making process. We are looking for hungry and ambitious individuals who can lead by
example and who have firsthand experience in dealing with high calibre decision makers. However,
it is not all about the sale. At Galaxy Utilities we are a people centric company, we treat people
like people including all stake holders. That could be colleagues, suppliers, customers or associate
organisations that we work with. Ultimately our aim is to satisfy all needs and create value, not
just make a sale
