Participants required for an arts and cultural development programme, where they will be given the opportunity to take over an exhibition and project space in Camden for one month to develop their own individual group exhibition and accompanying cultural programme.
The 6-week project will entail planning, preparation, and visioning, as well as input, lectures and interactive workshops delivered by the programme staff.
This unique opportunity for arts graduates from any discipline will provide the possibility for the group to “take over” the arts space and create original and cutting-edge work. As part of the project participants will also gain a nationally recognized qualification in Cultural Heritage.
The commitment for programme participants is approximately 8 hours per week for the full 6-week programme. This opportunity is ideal for people wishing to gain industry experience in arts administration, curating, arts events management, gallery, and live- art and cross-disciplinary arts experience. The opportunity is artists of all disciplines.
All people accepted on to this programme must demonstrate their commitment to the programme, including ascertaining the qualification, which will be undertaken by all participants. You neither have to pay for this programme nor will you be paid.
We have limited places available on this programme. The project will take place from mid early November to mid December. Shortlisted applicants will be invited along to an information evening before final places on the programme will be offered.
If you are interested in being part of this project, please send your CV and a covering letter stating your particular interests in the project, what you feel you could offer and what you feel you would gain from being part of the project. CV’s to harriet.jordan-wrench@mapalim.com
