General Nurse in Lithuania and carer in Uk

by Irma Glavinsiene
(Peterborough)

I am from Lithuania.I have been in England for 5years.I applied for a nurse pin number in UK as well. After long journey sending documents to NMC ,finally I have got a desicion.
I required to undertake an adaptation of no less than 6month to include a period of exposure to Maternal Health nursing and Mental Health nursing. The periods of exposure should be no less than a month length.During the remainder of the adaptation I must work under supervision in nursing practice of a general nature in acute hospital setting.
The above should be undertaken as single unit through a higher education institution(HEI) in the United Kingdom.I should contact a UK HEI that is approved to run an EU adaptation programme through the Overseas Nurses Programme.
I live in Peterborough and work as carer-team leader at Carer home.
I do not know how to find?Where is the best place? How to start?Do I need pay?I really need help and an advice.Another problem is that time goes very quick.
Any an information be great.Thank you.
Irma
