Job centres, now called jobcentre plus are great places to look for UK jobs. These are UK government funded agencies with branches on most high streets that actively help job seekers to secure employment. You can find them in all major cities.

London jobcentres alone has up to 68 branches.

Skilled jobs are being posted in jobcentres these days. Gone is the era when such centres where thought to be useful only to a cross section of job seekers.

You will be amazed by the amount and quality of resources provided in these offices free of charge to help the unemployed with drafting and writing of CVs, searching for local jobs posted daily on their job listing wide screen computer easily accessible to all, provide information and training opportunities to the unemployed, as well as help with getting your National Insurance Number (NINO) if you do not have one.

UK Job Centres or JobCentre Plus also helps with organising job seekers allowance for those who qualify to claim this monetary assistance from the government to all UK citizens actively seeking employment.
