We are looking for a professional, experienced Management Accountant to run a small finance team and be fully responsible for managing all aspects of the finances of the business.
Main responsibilities:
• Reporting direct to the Managing Director this is an important position as the person would have full responsibility for managing all the finances of the business • Responsible for preparation of accurate monthly management accounts, forecasting and reconciliations • Responsibility for a small finance team that do functions such as credit control, data entry and admin • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports and analysis • Making strategic recommendations to improve current systems to maximise efficiency and productivity • Company payroll • Preparation of VAT • Invoicing and payments
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with previous experience at this level and a proven track record. They will also need the following skills:
• High attention to detail and good analytical skills • Experience using Quickbooks • Ability to prioritise workload and work in a pressured environment • Ability to work proactively and autonomously on your own initiative • Trustworthy • Good problem solving skills
