Playworker required for central after school club, Experience essential as 2 relevant references essential and enhanced disclosure as well as medical fitness form from GP. Duites include escorting children from school to club, setting out and storing away equipment, supervising and organizing play spaces, big group games and play opportunities, helping with homework, preparing and providing snack, planning arts and crafts projects or music, drama projects, attending fortnightly planning and evaluation meetings,working within a small team of 6 to provide exciting play opportunities for primary aged children. candidates must be willing to enter into SVQ3 Training in order to register with the SSSC for which funding should be available. First aid and Child Protection training is desirable but will be provided as soon as possible once the candidate has been selected. Hours are 3.15.- 6.mon-thu and 12.15 - 5.45 on fridays during term-time and varying hours during holiday clubs between 8.30 - 6. Wage £7 per hour.
